This is always a great way to meet professors you might be taking classes with later, catch up with old friends, and meet the rest of the ever changing UHP student body.

“Crossing Lines” Documentary Screening with Filmmaker Q & A

This film follows filmmaker and Professor Indira Somani as she strives to connect the two worlds in which she exists – Indian and American – and the challenge of preserving her cultural identity following her father’s death.  Ms. Somani and her co-producer, Leena Jayaswal, will be on hand for a question and answer session following the film.

Challah for Hunger!

The GW Hillel Sistahood invites all students to share in the ancient tradition of weekly challah bread baking in the GW Hillel kitchen (23rd & H Street).  Baking will take place Wednesday night and the bread will be sold on campus on Thursday to raise money for a local women’s charity.  No prior baking experience needed.  Please contact jamie@gwhillel.org for more information.

Let’s honor our Foremothers through service and follow in the steps of women volunteers throughout history! We’re challenging GW women to complete 10,000 hours of service during Women’s History Month.
