UHP Student wins NSF Fellowship!

Laurel Poolman, a sophomore in the UHP and an Archaeology major, has received an NSF fellowship to participate in the Biocultural Anthropology program at the University of Notre Dame.  This is a summer program funded by the National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates. The program includes lectures, laboratory work, field work, and sessions on anthropological ethics.  Laurel was one of over 70 applicants accepted for 10 awards. Congratulations Laurel!
