Dr. Ferid Murad, Nobel Laureate, Speaks! [Recommended Event]

If you couldn’t get into the class taught by Nobel Laureate Dr. Ferid Murad, this event might be just for you!

The William Beaumont Research Honor Society at GWU is proud to announce a lecture by Dr. Ferid Murad, the 1998 Nobel Prize Laureate in Medicine.

This lecture will take place on March 7th from 2-4 PM at the Betts Theatre in Marvin Center. Find more info on Facebook.

The lecture is open to the entire GWU community. The event will be followed by a reception sponsored by the AMA @ GWU.  

Dr. Ferid Murad is the 1998 Nobel Prize Laureate in Medicine and a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at GWU. Moreover, he is one of the first MD-PhD graduates in the nation. Prior to joining GWU, Dr. Murad worked at a number of academic institutions. In addition, he has founded or co-founded five biomedical companies. His current research interests are cell-cell communication and cancer biology.
