Looking for a Course?

30 Aug

If you’re looking to switch up your course schedule, we wanted to bring your attention to this particular offering:  Prof. Grier’s Difficult and Obscure Ideas.  Yes, that’s what it’s actually called.  The course counts as an Honors Self & Society, and (although the course number doesn’t indicate it) it’s also a WID.

For those of you who don’t know, Prof. Grier served as the Director of the University Honors Program for several years.  There’s still spots in his course, which meets once a week on Wednesdays from 2:30pm to 5:00pm.  The complete info is below.  You’ve got about two weeks left in the add/drop period!

It’s Walk-in Hours at the UHP

30 Aug

Don’t forget: it’s walk-in advising time!

Now through September 9th, just walk in and ask to meet with an advisor, no appointment necessary (or possible)!

We’d do drive-thru advising hours, but we’re trying to reduce our carbon foot print.  So, walk.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1) Walk in to the office and ask to meet with Liz or Catherine.

Step 2) Meet with one of them.

Remember, our office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Tip: 5pm is when our office closes, so come in before then!
