Volunteer at the International Conference of Women Media Leaders, March 22-25

The GW Global Media Institute and the International Women’s Media Foundation are looking for student volunteers to participate in their groundbreaking International Conference of Women Media Leaders. Volunteers will join 100 of the world’s most prominent women media executives who will come together to create a Plan of Action to create gender equity in the news media.  The conference will take place on campus March 22-25, 2011.  Interested volunteers are asked to sign up for either first or second shift on March 23 (10:30am-1pm or 12:45pm-5pm) and/or afternoon shift on  March 24 (Noon-5pm) .  Please email availability to Meaghan Calnan at macalnan@gwu.edu.

Volunteers will be greeting delegates, assisting with registration, ushering, and offering general event support.
