Seriously though, this cash is no joke.

The Polish American Arts Association offers $3,000 scholarships to undergraduates and graduates of Polish decent.

Requirements include:
— residence in the Maryland-DC-Virginia area
— US citizen
— fine student with the promise of a successful future

Learn more about how you can participate in our events and volunteer programs dedicated to tutoring and mentoring at-risk youth from DC public schools. We will also be making Valentine’s Day greetings for the students at Maury Elementary School. Bring your art supplies if you have any! Email for any questions or comments. Leadership Opportunity – Books for Africa

Books for Africa, a student org here at GW, is looking for some bright students to join their e-board (especially underclassmen, as most of the current board will be graduating this year), and help out with a great cause! B4A’s major activity is a book drive conducted at the end of each semester. They box up the books collected and send them to their participating NGOs – Better World Books and Books for Africa. These organizations either send the applicable books to different schools all over the continent or sell them online and use the profits to buy new books, build schools, libraries, and other facilities that promote learning all across Africa.  They also hold other events throughout the year to raise awareness on campus.

Honors Contract Courses and You [Deadline]

You’ve got just over a week to complete and turn in the form for your Contract Course.  That means YOU if you plan to:

  • Do a course conversion,
  • Internship for Honors credit,
  • Undergraduate Research,
  • Research Assistantship,
  • Senior Thesis
