Study in the UHP

Now through the rest of the semester, stop by the UHP townhouse in Foggy Bottom to find a place to study!  Come alone or bring your charming and hilarious study group and we’ll open up the doors to the Club Room for studying for the following days and times.

• Mondays 1pm-3pm
• Tuesdays 4pm-6pm*
• Wednesdays 1pm-3pm
• Thursdays 10am-1pm
• Fridays – 10am-3pm

Remember, bring your own mugs and enjoy our hot chocolate and coffee!

*Except Tuesday, October 30th.

Study hours continue this week in the UHP.  Don’t be shy, come on by!

The Club Room is open to everyone, and the basement will be reserved for “silent study.”

Study Hours at the UHP

Finals are once again upon us!  With the nice weather you might be tempted to grab your books and head to Lisner Beach to get some work done, but if you find you need to be indoors, the UHP is there for you!

Gelman gets mighty crowded, but you’ll have access to the club room and the basement here at the UHP.  (Along with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a few snacks too!)  We’ll reserve the basement for “silent study” for those of you that prefer it.

Thur 4/28: No study hours!  Head to Bertucci’s instead! (Just get your tickets first.)
Fri 4/29: 9am-10pm

You Don't Have to Study Here!

So study days were cut a bit short this semester thanks largely to the big Sno-mageddon in February.

The good news is that everyone at GW is in the same boat as you.

The bad news is that the boat you’re all in is Gelman Library, and it can get crowded.  Or too hot. Or too cold.

The great news is that as Honors students, you can come study in the UHP office!  Join us here, where the rivers of knowledge flow rich with free hot chocolate and coffee.  We’ll also have some brain-food snacks on hand during official study hours, starting on Saturday.

The full schedule of when we’ll be open for study space is listed below, but you should also note that you’re welcome to come study here during regular business hours of 9-5, Monday-Friday.
