Seniors: Graduation Form Deadline is Coming Up! [Deadlines]

You know that all these blog posts remind you are way better than a billion emails.  Show us you appreciate it by filling out your grad form today.

For those of you graduating this spring, we need your Graduation Form by Friday, April 13th.

The Graduation Form is an online form that should take you about 5 minutes to complete.

We need you to fill this out to make sure you get counted as a UHP graduate!

This form is NOT the same as the Special Honors Verification Form, and it’s not the same as any graduation form for your school or department.

Pizza, Bagels, and Advising, Oh My!

That’s right, three of your favorite things, all in one week!

Not only are these coming two weeks walk-in advising hours at the UHP, but now you’re invited to these hold removal parties!

Drop by the UHP townhouse, get your hold removed if you’re CCAS (and general advising if you’re not), and eat some free food.

Along with Catherine and Liz, you can get some peer advising from SPA! Drink from the fountains of wisdom and experience we call SPA.

Hold removal parties will be held in the Club Room at the UHP on these dates:

• Wednesday, April 4, 10am-12pm (bagels)
• Wednesday, April 4, 2:30pm-4:30pm (pizza)
• Thursday, April 5, 11:30am – 1:30pm (pizza)
• Friday, April 6, 3pm-5pm (pizza)

And no, you can’t just show up to eat pizza or bagels.  You have to actually have some advising concerns.  So, get concerned.

Last Chance to Hike!

We had to reschedule the hike after the weather threatened to electrocute everybody.  It was pretty shocking.

The good news is that we’re set to go this weekend (Saturday, the 31st)!  If you were signed up before, you MUST CONFIRM with us by the end of the day if you still plan to come.  If you’re down for the count and missing out, let us know so we can let people on off the waitlist.

Seniors: Hand in Your Special Honors Verification [Deadlines]

It’s really hard to keep these messages creative week after week, so help a guy out and hand in your special honors verification form.  If you’re not sure if you need to, here’s how to find out:

1. Are you a senior?
2. Are you graduating in December?
3. Are you pursuing Special Honors in your degree in lieu of taking HONR 4198?

If you answered yes to all of the above questions, congrats! You need to submit a  Special Honors Verification Form (PDF) to the UHP by 5pm on Friday, April 13th.

The form requires a signature from your school’s advisor (not Catherine or Liz), so it’s better to do this sooner rather than later.
